Ethan Cross was an ordinary college student who escaped reality by playing his favorite sci-fi fantasy MMORPG, Heaven Bound Hero’s. After years of mastering the game, he created his ultimate character: Krindrus Kennway, an alien Magic Knight from the ancient Celestari race. Krindrus wielded both advanced cosmic magic and energy-forged weapons, making him one of the game's strongest champions.
On the night Ethan defeats the game's final expansion boss, a mysterious surge of light erupts from his computer. He awakens—not in his bedroom—but inside the body of Kaelion himself.
At first, Ethan believes he's trapped in a game. But he soon discovers this world is real. The NPCs have thoughts, emotions, and histories far deeper than the game ever revealed. Kingdoms are on the verge of war, forgotten alien civilizations hide beneath ruined worlds, and an ancient cosmic entity known as The Void Sovereign is awakening far earlier than it did in the game's storyline.
Even worse, Ethan's knowledge of the game's events begins changing. Quests disappear, characters make different choices, and fate itself seems to be rewriting the story around him.
Armed with Krindrus incredible magical abilities and his memories of both Earth and the game, Ethan must become the hero he only pretended to be behind a keyboard.
