Jack Davis was an ordinary guy, a Transformers fanatic from the heart of America. His favorite character wasn’t the noble Optimus Prime or the fierce Megatron, but Lockdown, the ruthless, calculating bounty hunter who saw the world as a battlefield to be conquered. He admired Lockdown’s independence, power, and the way he hunted his targets without remorse. For Jack, Lockdown represented the ultimate symbol of freedom and strength—untethered, unstoppable, and always in control.
It was a regular evening after Jack had watched Transformers: Age of Extinction for what felt like the hundredth time. His mind wandered as he fell asleep, wondering what it would be like to live as a mechanical warrior like Lockdown. Little did he know that his wish was about to come true, in the strangest way imaginable.
When Jack opened his eyes, everything was different.
No more mundane life in America. No more city streets or crowded movie theaters. He stood in a forest, surrounded by towering trees swaying gently in the wind. The air felt oddly dense, and everything around him seemed... surreal. Confused, Jack looked down at his body and froze. What he saw wasn’t his familiar human form but the cold, mechanical limbs of Lockdown himself.
“Where... am I?”
Before he could even process his transformation, a voice echoed in his mind.
“System initializing… Welcome, user. You have been transmigrated to the world of Naruto. This is the Plot Watcher System. Your task: observe the key events of this world. Complete missions to receive rewards. Failure will result in… termination.”
Jack blinked, trying to make sense of what was happening. Naruto? Wasn’t that an anime he watched as a kid? The next words that appeared before his eyes chilled him to the core.
“Your first mission: Watch the events of the Chūnin Exam. Reward: Lockdown’s Energon Sniper Rifle.”

In his new form, his personality began to shift, Lockdown’s cold, calculating nature blending with his own. He would play this game, complete the missions, and survive—but as the hunter, not the hunted. Just like Lockdown, he would track down his targets, follow the plot, and take whatever rewards came his way.
And when the time came, he would hunt in other worlds.
