The Apothecary and the Cursed Prince

Author_Lia_08
In the crumbling Kingdom of Valon, haunted by the remnants of a shadow realm long forgotten, Eleonora is an apothecary, capable of healing both bodies and souls with her unique gift. Shunned by her village for a crime she never committed, Eleonora lives a quiet life on the outskirts, brewing potions and tending wounds. So when she comes across an injured soldier in the dead of the night—stabbed, poisoned, and left there to die—Eleonora doesn't think much before bringing him back to her little cottage. Her world is upended when the mysterious stranger turns out to be the Crown Prince of Valon, infamous for his cruel and merciless ways. Feared for his brilliance, whispered about his indifference, and followed by rumours darker than the shadows at his back, Callahan Ashbourne is a man who plays people like chess pieces. He's a master strategist at work. A cloaked wielder of dark forces. His cursed powers transcend the living. He's everything she is meant to fear. Eleonora avoids the nobles just as fire avoids water. But when Prince Callahan starts to take an interest in her, she realizes her days are numbered and her life span significantly reduced. He speaks in riddles. He tests her limits. And with every encounter, it becomes harder to tell if he's protecting her—or pulling her into something she won't survive. But Eleonora is not so easily played. And as the lines between captor and confidant begin to blur, she must decide whether the prince’s interest is a calculated threat… or something far more dangerous. Because in a kingdom where magic is forbidden and power is the deadliest currency, one woman who wants nothing to do with the throne might be the only thing standing between a prince and the ruin he was born to bring.

Beauty and the Thief [BL]

Tao Hua's life is fucking miserable, and that misery somehow earns him the title of "Village Disgrace." In order to cope with the awful treatment, he often retreats into words untold, dictated by the flip of a page. These worlds leave him with the dream of escaping this piece of shit town. To his utter dismay, his wish comes true, but not in the way all those fairytales promised. His saviour is a man he becomes enthralled with and whom he names “Lord No-Name.” This male lead is a touchy man with many faces. And for lack of a better word, Tao Hua can’t decide if he’s either the story’s love interest or villain. But the two share a common sentiment. This prince, alike Tao Hua, is also fucking miserable. But arguably worse! And instead of coping like a normal fucking person, he does the opposite. He doesn't escape. He doesn't cope. He just tries to fight against the already fated truth of his demise. 0/10, worst prince ever written. Misery aside, this fateful encounter will force Tao Hua to make a choice, leaving him with only one question: "What was one mean-spirited beast to a town of people who despise a beauty's entire existence?" ──── ୨୧ ──── Beauty and the Thief is a slow-burn, stop to smell the roses, type of novel. That being said, the roses are beautiful, and upon closer observation they’re less floral than once thought. It follows the POV of Tao Hua, as he tries to navigate his new life in a place that actually values him, and the prince of this story’s mood swings. ──── ୨୧ ──── !!!!Disclaimer!!!! EXTREMELY SLOW PACED! Character driven, before plot! This story borrows the premise of Beauty and the Beast, by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont, relying heavily on the trope while also twisting it to smithereens. The beast element is exchanged for a power dynamic, and the curse differs from the original story. The narration borders on sarcastic and self-aware, while also targeting deeper topics. It often breaks the fourth wall as a stylistic choice. A lot of the work will be edited over time, but the bones will remain the same. ──── ୨୧ ──── There are occasional illustrations littered throughout the novel drawn by me (slowly commissioning to get others done), usually found in the comments! !!CREDIT!! Cover Art by @Sayoto (VGen) Illustrations by me (@meowssey) and zaza (@zazhah) (Both commissioned artists are amazing to work with and I highly recommend their work!)

[MCU x HP] Reborn as Hermione: Spamming the Killing Curse!

Waking up in a new body is disorienting. Waking up as Hermione Granger—the brightest witch of her age—is a surprise. But realizing you aren't in Hogwarts, but standing in the middle of Tony Stark's New York? Complete panic. Fortunately, "Hermione" isn't empty-handed. Bound to a mysterious Grimoire that allows her to jump between the Wizarding World and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she realizes one absolute truth: playing the good girl is for losers. Why bother with complex science and superhero morals when the Unforgivable Curses exist? Avada Kedavra solves 99% of her problems. For the remaining 1%, there's Imperio. Tony Stark: "J.A.R.V.I.S., it's time to design the Anti-Wizard Armor." Hermione: (smirks) "You mean the scrap metal that breaks the second you put it on?" Hulk: "HULK SMASH!" Hermione: (raises wand) "Shut it, green guy, or I'll cast Expelliarmus on your pants!" The Ancient One: "You are an anomaly. A sorcerer who does not belong on this timeline..." Hermione: "Let me correct you, baldy. I am a Wizard." Nick Fury: (eye twitching) "Where exactly are you from?" Hermione: (adjusts robes innocently) "Me? I'm just a simple exchange student from Hogwarts." Armed with unparalleled acting skills, a ruthless inner demon, and a wand that flashes green way too often, the MCU is about to learn why you never mess with a Dark Witch in sheep's clothing. [Features] World Hopping: Seamlessly travel between HP & MCU! Two-Faced MC: Innocent schoolgirl on the outside, ruthless Dark Lord on the inside. Magic vs. Tech: Watch science try (and fail) to explain Unforgivable Curses. Elite Banter: Sarcastic, unapologetic, and totally overpowered.
