They say demons are monstrous creatures. Being of ruin and ash and red flame. But not all ruins begin with a flame, not all demons have horns and fangs. Some demons wear three piece suits, with top hats and a cane. Some are called Lord and ladies, and some are like snow.
Growing up in his insignificant little life, balancing on the line of poverty, Auren never expected a life of riches. Or freedom or power.
However, sometimes he sees things. Echoes, memories, impressions within magic of things that once were…
Perhaps it was then he should’ve realised..it’s a dangerous thing to see echoes of a hidden past.
