“What are you doing?!” Min-ho yelled. “I’m trying to survive,” Savior said, her voice shaken. “You don’t...” He trailed off as she pointed toward the number above the temple with her dagger. “There’s only enough room for two,” she said, “and there’s still two meters separating us from the entrance.” “They will attack us if we let them be,” Savior said, then, a voice pulled both hers and Min-ho’s gaze. A young girl no older than eighteen, was covered in blood. She was missing an ear and an eye, yet she was struggling onto the slab. “Please...please help me,” the girl pleaded, her voice weak and broken. Savior ignored the girl’s plea and made to finish her off, but Min-ho held her back with his wounded hand. “You don’t have to do this.” Min-ho said. “Then do you want to give your place up for her?” Savior whispered. Min-ho’s eyes widened. “Make a choice Min-ho.” Savior said, her voice cold and flat. Min-ho said nothing, his gaze was frozen on the girl crying for help. Help...he couldn’t give. Savior turned away from him, then she pulled on the girl’s hair and without so much as batting an eye, she slit the girl’s throat. Blood spewed in every direction as the girl squirmed. Min-ho stood frozen. He couldn’t say anything—couldn't do anything. He just watched, wondering to himself if this was what he needed to be to survive here. Though he asked this question he knew deep down what he needed to do, what he had to do, because…this was only the beginning.

Fated To Not Just One, But Three

I let out a bitter laugh. “It’s ironic, isn’t it? You spent years making my life a living hell, and now you look at me like I’m the very air you breathe.” Lennox’s face fell. “Olivia, it wasn’t supposed to be like this—” I cut him off, my eyes blazing with anger. “Oh, but it was. You wanted me broken. You wanted me to suffer. And I did.” I paused, my voice trembling. “But not anymore.” Louis, who had been silent, spoke softly. “Olivia, we—” I shook my head and took a step back, putting distance between us. “No. Whatever you think you feel, it doesn’t matter. And now, you’ll have to live with it.” With that, I turned away, refusing to let them see the tears burning in my eyes. •••••••• Olivia Parker was once the cherished daughter of a respected Gamma—until betrayal shattered her world.
