HungerNull -An injection that was designed to stop hunger but after 10 years, people that used it turned into Nulls. NULLS -Humans who mutated after receiving the injection called HungerNull. -Mutations vary but generally make them dangerous and monstrous. OXIDES -Humans with special abilities. Breathe carbon dioxide instead of oxygen, so they wear gas masks to survive in normal air. -Removing the mask doesn’t kill them, but it weakens them significantly. THE VEIL -A massive fence somewhere in Africa,; its creators are unknown. -People inside don’t remember how they entered. -Inside residents are told they are the only humans left in Africa(A lie), discouraging them from leaving the fence. -Daily life: food, rules, and social structure mimic a closed society. -People that prove to be useless are killed. **** Present: 150 years after the apocalypse. -Oxides and Nulls as established forces.
