But, on his coronation day, mortals rebelled. They slaughtered the gods, tortured the survivors, and locked Nine inside a nightmare of his own creation: the night his village burned, replaying endlessly for Eleven thousand, five hundred years.
Every loop, he watches his father die. Every loop, he fails to save them. Every loop, he dies in the flames, only to wake and suffer it again.
