The next day I work out for a long time, lost in thought thinking of Momo. I spend most of the day like this until I hear my phone jingle. I pick it up and look to see who messaged me.
Huh, it's from All Might. It says, come meet me at the beach later tonight. I text back that I'll be there.
After dinner I run tell mom I'm going out for a run and head to the beach to see All Might.
After running for a while I arrive at the beach to see All Might looking out at the ocean. I yell out "Hey All er…. Toshinori" while waving at him.
He turns around to see me waving at him and says "Izuku, you gotta be more careful what if someone heard you."
"Sorry" I say.
"Anyway" he says putting his fist against my chest "You did great Izuku, I'm proud of you."
"Thanks, All Might" I whisper out.
"I have to admit, I'm curious. How did you do the first time around?"
"For the U.A. Exam?" I ask before seeing him nod and continue saying "I thought I was gonna fail. I passed the written exam, but I only managed to pass the practical exam thanks to Rescue Points."
He nods and then says "Quite the improvement, however…. Don't feel complacent. Always push beyond your limits, only then will you be able to become the next symbol of peace."
"I will, don't worry."
He ruffles my hair and then says "Again Izuku you did well, you were only short of a few points before you would topped my score."
"Really?!" I almost scream out.
"That's right, but before it gets too late you should head home."
"Alright, I'll see you at school" I say waving at him before heading home.
The next day me and my mother are busy running around the house getting ready for our guest. Finally our guest arrives as we hear the doorbell ring.
We both walk stiffly to the door and I open it after calming myself. Momo is standing there wearing that lovely red dress she wore for our first date before.
I momentarily forget my worries and say "Hi Momo, you didn't get lost did you?"
"No Izuku, I made sure I had directions prepared" Momo says with a smile on her face.
A smile comes to my face and then I say "Alright Momo, this is my mother. Mom, this is my girlfriend, Momo Yaoyorozu."
"Hello Yaoyorozu, my name is Inko Midoriya" Mom says extending her hand nervously to Momo who takes it and gives it a quick shake.
"Why don't we go to the living room?" I ask the two of them and they nod. We head into the living room and I sit next to Momo on the couch, while Mom sits on the recliner.
After a few awkward moments of silence my mother asks "So…. Izuku mentioned you two have known each other since he transferred?"
"That's right. Our teacher wanted me to give him a tour of the school grounds, but I didn't really get to know him too well until we became friends later" Momo says.
"I see… when was that?" Mom asks.
"It was when I was in the library doing some research on a Quirk I was interested in, mom" I answer in her place.
"Yeah, you had books scattered everywhere. I offered to help put them away and then something unexpected happened" Momo says leaning into me, which causes me to blush.
"Unexpected?" my mom asks curiously.
"Well" I start saying "Some of the books were up high, so we needed to use a ladder. She was coming down the ladder and the next thing I know she is falling to the ground, so I caught her."
"Oh, I see" my mom says before continuing while leaning into her hand placed on her cheek. "I see that my baby turned out to be such a charmer, just like his father."
I groan and say "Mom…."
"He is indeed" Momo says blushing, while grabbing my hand.
The questions go on and on for quite a while, but finally I saw the end of the tunnel.
"Izuku, why don't you the two of you hang out in your room and i will bring something to snack on in a little bit" Mom says while getting up and going to the kitchen.
"Okay Mom. Come on Momo" I say leading her to my room.
She stares at my door that has an All Might sign on it, which causes me to be nervous once more. "Well…. here we go" I say opening the door and walking in.
Momo follows me into my room and looks around at the incredible amount of All Might merchandise and training equipment lying around the room.
"You really are such a fanboy aren't you?" she asks with a smile on her face causing me to blush.
"I admire him, I want to be the type of hero who is always smiling while saving people, to let them know that everything will be okay" I say attempting to defend myself.
"You have both the Quirk and Spirit for that Izuku, but I have to say this is just like what I imagined your room to be like" Momo says looking around again, before turning to me and smiling "It's very you."
A smile creeps up on my face and I say "Thanks Momo."
Mom comes into my room and sets down a plate of sandwiches and 2 glasses of juice for us. "Alright you two, I have to head out for an errand for a while. I'll be back later" Mom says before walking out of my room.
"Alright Mom, thanks for the snacks!" I yell back and I hear a door open and close. I guess Mom is gone now, I think to myself while sitting down on one of the floor cushions.
Momo takes a seat opposite to me and sighs before saying "I guess you were right Izuku."
"See I told you my mom would like you" I say.
"No you told me, she would love me. Just like you do…" she says trailing off while looking into my eyes causing me to look away.
"Yeah about that…." I start, but get interrupted by Momo getting up and sitting down in my lap.
She sits with her back against my chest and looks back up into my eyes. "Izuku… did you mean that?" Momo asks.
I blush and my heart feels as if it would jump out of my chest, but I attempt to calm down enough to answer her. I wrap my arms around her waist holding her close to me and say "yes" in a low voice.
She relaxes against me and then says "I love you too Izuku. I wanted to tell you that in person, not over the phone." After she says that she turns a bit and kisses me on the lips, which causes me to stiffen temporarily.
I put a hand up to my lips and try to recall the feel of her lips on mine, which causes Momo to giggle a bit. "Izuku I love you" she says closing her eyes while moving her face closer to mine.
"I love you too Momo" I say while moving to kiss her. Our lips connect for a short time and then seperate. Momo leans onto my chest while I hold her waist and we stay like that until mom comes home.
"Momo let's get you home."
"Yeah, my mother won't be happy if I'm out too late" Momo says getting up and I get up after.
"Mom, I'm gonna walk Momo to the station" I yell as we make our way to the door.
"Alright Izuku, just don't be too late" Mom yells back.
I grab Momo's hand and escort her to the station where we part for the night.
