Street Fighting (B-rank) Street Combo (B-rank) Punisher of Sin (B-rank)
Description:
No one could understand why Cody later chose to abandon his love with Jessica just to roam the streets and fight. Perhaps, to him, the thrill of street brawls was simply more exhilarating?
Also known as "Sinful Cody," he was essentially a violence addict who took pleasure in street fights. No matter who was fighting, he would jump in just for the thrill of it.
Even after being imprisoned for his fights and losing his wife, he didn't care in the slightest.
Most of the time, he stayed in prison. But whenever he felt like it, he would break through the walls, find some skilled fighters for a forced sparring session, and then return to prison to lie down again—pure thug behavior.
His talent in fighting was exceptional. By the end of his journey, even when facing Ryu—the main protagonist of the Street Fighter world—who had fully mastered the Satsui no Hado, Cody could still fight him to a draw.
Of course, that was only if Ryu wasn't truly intent on killing him. If Ryu unleashed his full killing intent, even ten Codys wouldn't be enough to take him down.
Cody was definitely a tough enemy, but the problem was that, just like Bushinryu warrior Guy, Cody hadn't fully grown into his peak strength yet. His combat ability was far from its highest level, and he hadn't fully mastered many of his techniques.
Otherwise, Guy—who had already died at Qin Ming's hands—would have shown him the true meaning of Bushinryu's ultimate technique, the A-rank "Bushin Musou Renge"!
Logically speaking, since Cody hadn't fully matured, his combat power should only be on par with Guy at best. In a one-on-one fight, he should have no chance against Qin Ming.
Yet, when the real fight began, Qin Ming found himself in a frustrating mess—not because he couldn't beat Cody, but because his opponent's fighting style was just too chaotic!
A proper fighter avoiding punches and kicks was one thing, but what was the deal with carrying around steel pipes and daggers?
And during the fight, Cody literally used whatever he could get his hands on! Pots, pans, and dishes were all fair game, leaving Qin Ming dizzy from the impacts! His unpredictable hit-and-run tactics only added fuel to Qin Ming's growing frustration.
Watching Cody squeeze through the narrow gaps of the stairwell due to his smaller frame, then getting stuck in place while taking a frying pan to the head, Qin Ming's forehead veins bulged in fury.
For someone who had always enjoyed the perks of a large physique, this was the first time it backfired on him.
At this moment, he felt like a classic martial arts movie villain—immensely strong and physically dominant, yet unable to land a single hit on the protagonist, who was constantly weaving through the terrain and playing tricks on him.
If it weren't for the fact that his opponent was Cody and not Chun-Li, Qin Ming would have almost thought Jackie Chan had just time-traveled into this world!
But this wasn't a movie.
Qin Ming was not slower than Cody—he was actually even more agile.
This meant that, although Cody's unorthodox "thug-style" had caught Qin Ming off guard at first, once Qin Ming adjusted, Cody's advantage vanished.
In the Street Fighter world, there was a widely known phrase among novice fighters—a poem about combat techniques:
"Stand still and throw fireballs, never advance."
"If you jump, I'll counter with a heavy punch!"
"You throw a fireball, I get knocked down."
"If you jump, I'll stand firm with a heavy kick!"
For those who didn't fully understand combos, the best strategy was often "stay still and adapt."
After all, when two amateurs fought, many had no idea how to counter cheap strategies, and "fireball spam" was the cheapest one of all!
Since close combat was a hassle, and since Cody was running around like a living furniture store Jackie Chan, then why bother chasing him?
Qin Ming stopped moving and began spamming blood spheres like crazy.
All kinds of blood spheres.
Caesar's Imperial Wave!
Overlord Roaring Fist!
Hadouken!
Sonic Hand Blade!
Viper Strike!
Qin Ming transformed into a human artillery turret, bombarding the frantically dodging Cody with relentless attacks, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.
If it became a ranged duel, Cody did know Tornado Blast, but it was nowhere near enough to match Qin Ming.
If it became close combat, not only was it hard for Cody to get close, but even if he did, Qin Ming wasn't afraid of fighting up close either!
Eventually, backed into a corner with no escape, Cody had no choice but to fight head-on. With a furious roar, he unleashed a massive tornado!
This was the ultimate move he had honed through countless street brawls—Punisher of Sin!
The high-speed rotating air, fueled by energy, created a colossal tornado that swept up everything around it, turning debris into deadly projectiles. It was the perfect technique for clearing out mobs of enemies.
But against a true powerhouse? It was far from enough!
Before the tornado could even reach him, Qin Ming's eyes flashed with a ruthless gleam as he suddenly spread his arms wide.
Imitation—Bloodbath Massacre!
In other words—Chain Caesar's Imperial Waves!
Ignoring the immense blood consumption, Qin Ming unleashed a relentless barrage of massive blood spheres, hurling over a dozen of them in rapid succession. The sheer force of his attack completely overpowered the incoming tornado, dispersing it mid-air.
The remaining blood spheres smashed into Cody, who stood frozen in shock, sending him crashing through the wall and flying out of the building.
Before Cody could even struggle to stand, a flash of crimson flickered in the room.
Qin Ming's afterimage trailed behind him as he slid forward, grabbing Cody from the ground in one swift motion.
At the same time, he injected blood into Cody's body while dragging him forward at high speed!
Ultimate Technique—Heavenly Slide!
BOOM!
A deafening explosion erupted in the streets as Cody's body was detonated from the inside, making him scream in agony as he tumbled across the ground.
By the time he landed, his entire body was covered in wounds.
Qin Ming, having successfully crippled his opponent, grinned menacingly. He had no intention of giving Cody even a moment to recover. With blood surging around his hands, forming razor-sharp claws, he lunged at Cody's head.
"You… will become my nourishment!"
Hearing the incoming attack, Cody hastily lifted his head, his pupils contracting in terror at the sight of the deadly blood claws rushing toward him!
He instinctively tried to raise his hands to block, but he was too late.
CRACK!
The sound of flesh tearing echoed. Blood splattered violently as Qin Ming's claws found their mark—
But then, he suddenly froze.
There was no satisfaction on his face, only confusion as he slowly lifted his gaze.
Standing before him was a man who had appeared out of nowhere.
A towering figure, nearly two meters tall, with a body of bulging muscles and a square-jawed, resolute face.
The black-haired, middle-aged man showed no expression as he calmly blocked Qin Ming's fatal strike with his thick forearm, shielding Cody from harm.
This man wasn't just anyone.
He was one of the main protagonists of the Final Fight world—
The one opponent Qin Ming dreaded the most—
The last target he had planned to eliminate—
Metro City's Mayor, Mike Haggar!
As the mayor's sudden appearance registered in his mind, Qin Ming's heart sank.
This was bad.
Without hesitation, he lifted his other hand, claws aiming straight for Haggar's face.
But before his attack could land, Haggar's other hand shot out and grabbed Qin Ming's wrist in a crushing grip.
Their fingers interlocked—muscles tensed—veins bulged.
Qin Ming's eyes widened in shock as he felt his own power being forcibly suppressed.
His thick, muscular arm was being pushed down… twisted… restrained!
In terms of sheer strength—
Qin Ming was completely outmatched!
