Its claws and my sword moved blurringly. Creating shockwaves powerful enough that they had turned the hills fighting above to the dust.

It absorbed my energy from the shockwave while stopped it's. It might not absorb the Grimms energies, but it acts like mud, and waves do not last long in mud.
