Chapter 96 - Chapter 96

Inside the smithy, Naruto continued to bond with the men, learning their stories, sharing his own, and listening to their hopes and dreams. Meanwhile, the atmosphere outside was growing tense. The women, their faces set with determination, were preparing for battle. It wasn't just about the fight—it was about proving their worth and securing their place at Naruto's side. Each one had their reasons for taking up arms, some driven by the promise of revenge, others by the desire to belong, and some by the need to prove that they were strong enough to stand by him.

For the Amazons, giving up was never an option. It was a matter of honor—if they backed down, they would lower their standing in Naruto's eyes. To lose was to show weakness, something none of them could afford.

In the battle arena, Donna stood at the ready, feeling the weight of her decision. She was about to face her sister, Diana, in a fight that had been building for years. But this wasn't just about winning—it was about acceptance. It was about proving that she was worthy of standing beside Naruto. The challenge had pushed her into a position she never thought she'd be in: fighting for her place in a world of multiple lovers and new, unfamiliar dynamics. But in this moment, Donna didn't feel regret. She felt alive—a feeling she hadn't had in years.

She had moved on from her past, from the idealized love she once believed in. She had accepted that Naruto, with his many relationships, wasn't the man of her old fantasies. He was better. His love wasn't confined by the typical limits of affection. The way he treated each of them, the tenderness, the care—it was a love she had never known before. And it was the love he gave her last night that solidified her resolve.

Donna knew her feelings were selfish. She had been given a chance, a dream she never thought possible. But she couldn't turn her back on it now. She wanted her own happy ending, and she believed Naruto was the one who could give it to her.

Looking at her opponent, her sister Diana, Donna felt a surge of confidence. Gone was the nervousness she might have felt in the past. She wasn't the same woman who had once admired from the sidelines. She had evolved, learned, and grown stronger. The years had changed her, but so had the experiences she had gained—especially the surprising revelation of the power inside her.

When Raven had checked her body, Donna learned of the dormant abilities within her. She possessed the power of Titans, a strength that had gone unnoticed until it was awakened. And once activated, her power had grown exponentially, allowing her to stand on equal footing with her sister, Diana.

No longer was Donna the weak, unsure woman she had once been. Now, she was confident, strong, and ready to fight with everything she had. As her gaze locked on Diana, the weight of their history and their rivalry pushed her forward, but this time, it was different. This wasn't about competition for power—it was about proving she belonged.

"I won't back down," Donna muttered under her breath, feeling her power surge through her veins.

She had changed. And with that change, she would claim her place at Naruto's side, no matter what it took.

Rhea's decision to sacrifice herself was the ultimate act of redemption, a way to atone for the devastating consequences of her past actions, which had ignited a brutal planetary war. She had once been the embodiment of power and authority, but now, in her final moments, she became a force of life and rebirth.

In a bold and selfless move, Rhea poured her own essence into the universe, sending out her energy to find children who were on the brink of death, children whose lives hung in the balance. These were the ones who would inherit the legacy of the Titans—those whose potential had yet to be realized, but whose fate was tied to the ancient powers of the immortals.

The Titans, in their eternal wisdom, recognized the value of these children and bequeathed them the Seeds of their power. Each child received a portion of the Titans' immense strength and knowledge, a gift that would manifest as raw energy within them, waiting to be unlocked. Alongside this power, the children were taught the importance of responsibility, balance, and mastery. They were trained to wield the power they had been given, ensuring that the legacy of the Titans would not fall into the wrong hands.

But even as these Seeds grew and honed their newfound abilities, Rhea knew the importance of keeping their legacy in check. To prevent the risk of their powers becoming overwhelming or misused, the Seeds were stripped of their memories once they reached adolescence, their minds wiped clean of all that had come before. They were sent back to their respective home planets, their lives continuing as normal, unaware of the great destiny that awaited them.

On their home planets, they would grow up in environments that would shape their personalities and perspectives, influenced by the cultures and worlds around them. Some would rise to greatness, others would struggle, but each was destined to develop their powers in their own unique way. The Seeds would carry the bloodline of the Titans, but they would not remember their true nature until the time came for them to return to New Cronus.

In the future, when the universe called upon them, these children would be summoned back to New Cronus to claim their heritage. They would face the challenges of rediscovering their true identities, of tapping into the powers they had long forgotten, and of confronting the remnants of the Titans' legacy. They would be the ones to restore the glory of the Titans, but only if they could master the power within them without falling to the same temptations that had once consumed their predecessors.

Rhea had given everything to set this plan in motion, hoping that these new generations would rise above the mistakes of the past and guide the universe to a new era of balance. The future would depend on the Seeds—their strength, their wisdom, and their ability to choose a path of responsibility rather than destruction.

The seeds of the Titans had been planted. Now, it was time for the next chapter of their story to unfold.

The battle between Donna and Diana had begun with an intensity that could be felt in the very air around them. Donna, clad in her silver armor, stood ready, her body poised and her daggers gripped tightly in both hands. She had abandoned the traditional sword-and-shield style of the Amazons for a more agile, speed-based combat technique, one that blended her natural dexterity with the magic she had come to master.

Diana, on the other hand, wore her golden armor, a symbol of her seriousness about the fight. Her sword and shield gleamed in the light, the weapons of a warrior accustomed to strength and defense. There was no mistaking the determination in her eyes as she faced her sister, ready for a confrontation that would test both their abilities and their resolve.

Naruto, sitting with the other girls by his side, watched the battle unfold with an intensity of his own. He always took pleasure in watching a good fight, especially when it involved people he cared about. His focus was unwavering, as if he could sense the energy between the two fighters and the stakes of the battle.

Donna, with a confident yet serious expression, looked at her sister. "Sister, don't underestimate me. That is my advice to you before we start," she warned, her tone calm but filled with determination. She could feel the weight of the moment, knowing this battle was more than just a test of strength—it was about proving herself, her growth, and her place beside Naruto.

Diana's lips curled into a smile as she held her blade and shield, her posture unwavering. "We haven't sparred for a year now, so I am looking forward to what you've learned. I know why you're doing this, and I would love to help you, but I won't go easy on you," she said, her voice a mixture of affection and competitive spirit.

The wind rustled the dust on the ground as the two women took their positions. The tension was palpable. There was no turning back now.

Naruto stood, flying to a pillar where he could keep a watchful eye over the battle. His voice rang out, cutting through the tension. "Okay, enough chitchat, girls. You can start the fight now and talk later."

Raven, standing by his side, was ready for any interference that might arise. She knew this battle could become dangerous, and her presence was meant to keep everything in check.

Diana, ever the tease, shot back at Naruto. "Don't you have longer talks before battles? What hypocrisy is this?"

Naruto chuckled, shaking his head. "Quite wrong. I talk while we fight. You have quite the bad memory there, my friend. Now, I would love to have a long talk with you, but for now, just enjoy the battle." His voice carried a teasing tone, but his eyes remained focused on the sisters.

Donna, not wasting any more time, took the initiative, dashing toward Diana with impressive speed. The moment she closed the distance, however, lasers from behind Diana struck her, throwing off her balance just enough to give Donna an opening.

Without missing a beat, Donna performed a sliding tackle, knocking into Diana's right leg. The impact caused her sister to stumble, and Donna, seizing the opportunity, unleashed a powerful ice beam from the side, forcing Diana back and disrupting her planned shield strike.

Donna quickly recovered to her feet, her movements fluid and fast, and dashed toward Diana once again. She could see the strength of her sister's defense, especially with the armor and shield, but she also noticed the vulnerabilities in Diana's back and sides—gaps that could be exploited with the right mix of speed and magic.

As Donna anticipated, Diana wasn't one to fall easily. She intercepted Donna's charge with a shield bash, but Donna was prepared. In a swift reaction, she kicked with both legs just as their impact occurred, freezing the ground beneath Diana's feet. The sudden shift in the terrain caused Diana to lose her footing, and she was sent flying backward.

Neither of the two combatants used flight, as Amazons didn't possess the ability to fly, but the force of Diana's fall showed the immense power behind Donna's attacks.

Regaining her composure mid-air, Diana used her sword to stop her flight, spinning her body with impressive precision. As she landed and aimed a powerful kick at Donna, Donna reacted just in time, blocking the kick with her arm and countering by kicking at Diana's spinning arm.

But before Donna could follow up, Diana's shield came crashing toward her head, forcing her to retreat. At that moment, dark tentacles erupted from the shadows, grabbing Donna and pulling her a safe distance away from her sister.

Donna, now several meters away from the fight, took a moment to catch her breath. She could feel her heart racing in her chest, her mind racing with the realization that her sister was not going to be an easy opponent. But what shocked her most was how little Diana knew about her new abilities—specifically, the magical powers she had unlocked. Donna could see the surprise in her sister's eyes, the realization that she had changed.

The battle had only just begun, and both sisters had more to prove than either of them had expected.

The clash between Donna and Diana was intense, the air around them crackling with the energy of their battle. Diana's mind raced as she tried to figure out how to counter her sister's newfound power. "These powers are making the fight really hard," she thought, her focus sharpened by the realization that Donna's fighting style resembled that of Naruto. "It matches a lot with Naruto's fighting style when he isn't using clones or Kurama." Diana could see the efficiency and unpredictability in Donna's moves—the fluid blend of speed and magic made her opponent difficult to predict and counter. It was a style Diana knew all too well, and she knew that defending against it would be taxing. Her best chance now was to attack.

Donna walked toward her sister with quiet determination, her daggers gleaming in the sunlight. With swift, practiced movements, she threw both daggers at Diana with full force. Diana's instinct told her to block them with her shield, but as the blades flew toward her, they suddenly vanished, leaving Diana to spin in surprise just in time to avoid an unexpected attack from behind. Donna had closed the gap between them, and before Diana could react, Donna delivered a low kick aimed at her legs.

Diana blocked the kick with her sword, but just as her guard was up, Donna used her dark powers to pull her leg back, throwing off Diana's balance. Donna followed through, landing another kick to Diana's head. The force of the blow rattled Diana's senses. Damn magic, she cursed inwardly as she flowed with the kick to minimize its impact.

Donna quickly recovered and slashed at her sister with both daggers, the weapons returning to her hands as if by magic. Diana blocked the slashes with her shield, but the fight was quickly escalating. Donna flipped through the air, landing a powerful kick to Diana's shield, pushing her back. As Diana stumbled, Donna threw her daggers again, but this time, the blades were accompanied by dark tentacles that shot out from the shadows and latched onto Diana's legs, restricting her movement.

With no time to waste, Donna propelled herself through the air at high speed, crashing down on Diana with both legs outstretched. Diana, anticipating the dark tentacles, reacted just in time, jumping to the side as Donna's powerful landing created a massive explosion of dust and debris.

The daggers hit their target, breaking through part of Diana's armor. However, Diana managed to evade the full force of the attack, narrowly dodging a fatal blow. She dashed forward, her movement smooth and calculated, determined not to let her sister have the upper hand. She smashed into Donna with the force of her shield, sending Donna crashing into the coliseum wall.

Without missing a beat, Diana followed up with a vicious slash, aiming for Donna's sides. But Donna was prepared. She froze the ground beneath them, sending a surge of ice beneath Diana's feet that slowed her movements just enough. Using the wall for leverage, Donna pushed herself away and jumped out of range.

As Donna leapt into the air, she summoned more daggers, increasing the number and directions in which they flew. The air around her shimmered with magical energy as she used her control over the darkness to blind Diana's sight. The cold, icy tendrils of magic encased Diana, further slowing her movements as she struggled to fight against both the ice and the dark forces surrounding her.

With a determined push, Donna launched herself from the air to the ground, the ice cracking beneath her as she dove at Diana with ferocity. Diana fought to block the daggers, but Donna's speed was overwhelming. Just as Donna collided with her sister, both girls slammed into the wall of the coliseum, the impact reverberating through the entire arena.

Donna quickly gained the upper hand, landing a headbutt to Diana's chin while her daggers found their mark, slashing across Diana's hands. Her daggers, forged by Hephaestus himself, glowed with an ethereal light as they struck, and Donna's dark magic allowed them to appear anywhere in the battlefield—another advantage that kept Diana on the defensive.

But Diana was far from defeated. With a surge of strength, she kneed Donna in the stomach and headbutted her with immense force. The impact sent Donna crashing into the ground, and Diana followed with a powerful kick, sending her sister flying through the air. Donna's weapons had dropped in the chaos, but Diana could see her sister's determination—she was no longer reliant on the daggers.

Donna's growth was clear. She had become a formidable opponent, and the magic at her disposal was an unpredictable force that kept Diana on edge. Yet despite the increasing difficulty, Diana couldn't help but admire her sister's progress. It was a true challenge, and Diana was enjoying it more than she had anticipated.

As Donna righted herself in mid-air, Diana dashed toward her, arms outstretched, intent on landing a final blow. But Donna, quick to react, kneed Diana as she closed the distance. With a flash of movement, Donna attacked with her daggers from above. Diana, however, blocked the knee with one hand and punched Donna in the abdomen, sending her soaring higher into the air.

Diana followed her attack, launching herself upward to continue the pressure, but once again, darkness swirled around Donna's leg, trapping it in mid-air. Dark spears rained down from above, piercing the space around Diana as Donna prepared for another devastating strike. Diana's eyes widened in realization: Donna had been setting up an ambush, and she had no way of avoiding it.

Donna kicked downward with devastating force, sending Diana crashing to the ground. The dark spears followed, locking onto Diana's abdomen and piercing through her armor. Before she could react, Donna slashed downward with her daggers, cutting through Diana's leg as the attack finally ended.

Diana lay on the ground, panting heavily, her golden armor battered and torn. She was impressed. Donna had pushed her to the brink, and though she could have continued fighting, Diana knew the battle had come to a close. She had underestimated her sister, but the fight had been a thrilling one.

With a sigh, Diana looked up at Donna. "I give in," she said, her voice filled with admiration. "You've earned this. You've changed, and you've grown stronger than I ever imagined." Her smile was genuine, filled with pride for her sister. "You could have finished me if you wanted to, but you didn't. That's what makes you a true warrior."

Donna, breathing heavily but standing tall, nodded. She had fought hard, and while victory had been within her grasp, she knew her sister's respect was more important.
