"Thank you." Yu Qi managed to whisper, thanking him despite her overwhelming shyness.
"How are your studies going? Is everything okay?" Long Hui continued to talk to her, keeping the conversation going.
It had been a very long time since he last met her. He could not let this rare chance pass him by just like that. He rarely had opportunities to meet her, so he knew he must cherish every single second of this chance.
"It's been okay. I actually just finished my final exams. Now I am just waiting for the results to come out." Yu Qi answered.
"Final exams? Meaning you are finally going to finish high school?"
"Yes."
"Great. You will officially become an adult then."
Long Hui felt genuinely happy when she said she was finishing high school. It meant he could finally woo her much more openly. Otherwise, other people would give him weird, judgmental looks for courting a mere high schooler.
