The Bloodline Source of the Archdevil species was pivotal for his father's ascension toward the Primarchy and reaching Tier 13. The moment it happened, he would become Universe Master, and the Kadath Universe wouldn't have to fear any foreign invasion.
With the Universe Master on the side of the Kadath Universe, the possibility of the Kadath Universe being invited by another Universe was very low because not a lot of people and factions would attack a Universe that had the Universe Master ruling it...
Most of the factions that were attacking different Universes were either the Void Insects or the Fiends of the Infinite Abyss Universe, and a few others, but they generally avoided very strong Universes for obvious reasons.
Gu Long observed the Archdevil, who was now having very serious problems when it came to protecting himself from the Law Godhood of the Holy Destruction, as it was proving to be impossible when another Layer of the Baator fell to Leylin's Divine Realm.
Due to Iggwilv sealing this entire place, Asmodeus couldn't really escape, as Gu Long's humongous dragon form tore the Archdevil apart, granting him a very painful and slow death as he perished at the hands of the Dragon Prince.
With the death of Asmodeus, the entire Will of the Baator returned at once to the neutral like standing and stopped resisting the advance of Leylin's forces as the Origin Force of the Baator that was resisting the Divine Realm of Leylin Farlier dispersed back into the core of the Baator.
Meanwhile, the will of other Archdevils lost their will to fight the moment they realized that the Origin Force of the Baator wasn't responding to them and that the Overlord of the Baator was dead.
The sealing space collapsed as Gu Long collected the body of Asmodeus, while several moments later, Leylin appeared on the place where Gu Long and Iggwilv were floating and looked at the thing that the Dragon Prince was holding in his right hand.
It was a small object with the appearance of a scroll that was radiating the Primordial Essence of the Baator.
"The contract you had with my father has now been fulfilled..."
Gu Long threw Leylin the Primordial Contract of the Baator, which basically made someone ruler of the Baator, as Leylin instantly bound it to himself and his Divine Realm, swallowing the entirety of the Baator in one moment.
"So it is done..."
Leylin then opened his eyes as he muttered, feeling very satisfied with the end of the contract, because he indeed obtained a lot from it. With the contract and the membership in the Longinus Dreizhen Orden, he managed to reach the heights that he had never dreamed of before.
"I will send the corpse of Asmodeus with the Archdevil Bloodline Source to my father, though I will remain here... there are still a lot of tasty Gods to hunt..."
Gu Long said with a grin because he wanted to remain in the World of the Gods for the time being, as there were a lot of Gods that he could kill and devour to increase his own power.
The Final War between the Magus World and the World of Gods would be the most suitable event to increase his strength as much as possible. With the Law Godhood of Devouring, he felt confident of increasing his power to Tier 11; after that, he could safely return to the Kadath Universe.
"Having you two powerhouses of your caliber would be only helpful to our cause..."
Leylin was, in fact, very glad that Gu Long and Iggwilv decided to remain in this Universe and not return to the Kadath Universe. He knew that when the Final War erupted, while the Gods were the main enemies, several other threats existed.
The first were the Ancient Gods that survived the last Final War between the Magus World and the World of Gods, and the second were other ambitious Magi that wanted to gain as many benefits as possible.
The Ancient Gods were all very powerful Peak Rank 8 beings, some of them were even reaching the level of the Half-Step Rank 9 and the same could be said about several of the Ancient Magi like Mother Core, who was far more powerful than she was showing on the outside.
Leylin was greatly suspicious about these uncertain entities and how they would influence the Final War, because all of them were eyeing the advance to the Rank 9. Even though the Magi were all allies against the Gods, it was no secret that when it came to it, they would each choose their own interests.
So there wasn't any kind of eternal alliance or anything, just a bunch of Magi getting together to ensure their own benefits. In no way, they were allies, though some of them were creating their own blocks among the Magi or different kinds of relationships...
It also wasn't out of the question that some Magi may or may not, probably may attack him the moment they found out how many benefits he got from the World of Gods, or if somehow they discovered his method of the Law Godhood.
With Gu Long and Iggwilv, he would have two top-notch combatants on his side; with Gu Long's overwhelming raw power and Iggwilv's esoteric means and weird Magic, they would be able to cover each other's weak sides perfectly in the fight.
For the three of them, it was only a matter of time until they reached the peak of the Rank 8...
Gu Long only needed something to devour that would accelerate his progress and Iggwilv was standing on the same Path as the Magi, albeit with minor differences.
Aside from Laws and realizing her Path, she needed to incorporate the Magic Rules into her Path, something that was proving to be challenging even for her, as that would require a lot of magical research.
Gu Long and Iggwilv wanted to make the most out of this trip, before his father forcefully recalled him back to the Kadath to assume his responsibilities as one of the higher-ups of the entire Kadath Universe...
He knew that while his father didn't really care about the happenings among the mortals and even his own descendants, he still cared very much for his children and a few of the grandchildren, as he had many descendants.
But most of them were just numbers and only the most outstanding ones were the ones that he gave his attention to.
