Chapter 2 – Xu Longwei
Country X, Year 20XX
Meanwhile, a particular secretary is full of dilemmas in Country X's tallest and most prominent building.
His boss wants to fire all the employees in the marketing department after the failed marketing advertisement they had put up. It was supposed to be a big event, and the company even organized a party; however, the team manager decided it would be better to invite the last campaign's model, Lu Mina.
The boss was unhappy; as a result, the party was cut short, and everyone had to go home earlier than scheduled. It is well-known that Xu Longwei, the wealthiest and most powerful man in Country X, banned Lu Mina after she tried to drug him at an event last month.
The woman thought that with her allure, a few provocative actions could charm the man and overlook the fact that she laced his drink.
It was already a light sentence for her to be banned from their enterprise. Knowing the boss's personality, the uptight man would have killed her just for touching him. Only he knows how much control the man has to endure that night.
Now, Yang Jun doesn't know what to say to his overbearing boss to pardon other employees who were responsible for the star recruitment process. The team manager needs to go. He had heard many complaints against him and wanted to raise them with the HR Department.
Yang Jun: President, are you sure you want to fire everyone from the marketing department?
Xu Long Wei: Are you questioning my decision? I don't need them in my company if they don't know how to do their job properly. If they are not capable of knowing the rotten personalities of their recruits, how am I going to trust their judgment in the future? Now, stop talking and do what I asked you to do.
Yang Jun: Of course not. I will inform the HR department of your decision.
He left in a hurry and did not want to stay in the room any longer. He wants to help the marketing team, but he thinks there is no chance of that now. Their boss is not the one that changes his mind easily.
In the meantime, Xu Long Wei returned his attention to the documents he was reading. No one could tell what the man was thinking right now.
He has been signing reports and documents for 2 hours, but there is no sign of stopping. He is known to be a workaholic and tends to stay in the office longer than others. People in Xu Holdings respected him for his greatness in expanding his family's empire.
Before he took over as the head of his family, Xu was just one of the wealthiest families in Country X, but after he managed the business, it became an empire that no one could defeat. For every rich family in the country, being in the same room with this guy is already an honor. They only hoped that the open Mrs. Xu position would be for their daughter.
However, Xu Long Wei is not an easy target for these families who want to be part of the Xu family. There is very little information about him; he is reserved and known to hate being touched by the opposite gender. Some even suspect that the influential man is gay. But people also know that Xu Long Wei has a son, so how come he hates women?
Anyway, all they can do is hope for their daughter to be lucky enough to catch the man's attention.
