Early the next morning, Wu Yu immediately got started on his training as he had to meet his master in the afternoon.
He started with putting on the weights, 10kgs on each limb, that's right a whole 20kgs more than his friends, plus the extra 10kg when training his skills.
By the end of it, he was completely exhausted and laid on the ground motionless, that is if you don't count the constant twitching of his limbs.
Luckily Lin Yuhan and the twins were watching him suffer and decided to get him some water and help him recuperate.
With their help, Wu Yu was able to shorten his recovery time by a whole 2 hours making it so he arrived at his master's room on time albiet a little tired.
Walking in Wu Yu greeted Tang San and grandmaster with a simple bow then went and collapsed on the couch again.
At this point grandmaster and Tang San were a little curious on what kind of training Wu Yu was doing that would tire him out this much.
When they asked Wu Yu simply answered, "5 laps with 40kgs, plus 50 squats, push ups, pull ups, and sit ups, then add 10kgs more to train my skills."
Seeing the looks on his master and Tang San's face, Wu Yu reassured them, "don't worry, this is nothing compared to my future training."
Grandmasters face twitched as he heard what Wu Yu said and felt sorry for the other kids Wu Yu was training as well.
Tang San just gave Wu Yu a look of admiration and respect and started to feel that he needs to work harder if he wants to catch up to this senior brother of his.
After letting Wu Yu rest for a little while longer, grandmaster started talking about the reason he called them here.
It was fairly simple, he wanted to test their new found abilities and see if any changes occured in their spirits, weather good or bad.
There wasn't much change to Wu Yu's spirits in any way, besides the fact that he just got a huge power boost with his two skills.
On the other hand, Tang San's blue silver grass seemed to have changed a bit and looked a little different from the usual blue silver grass.
Other than these few changes, there wasn't anything else really noteworthy so grandmaster sent Tang San on his way so he could talk to Wu Yu alone.
"Little Yu, your zanpakuto spirit, any changes?" grandmaster asked once Tang San left.
Shaking his head, Wu Yu sighed while looking a little depressed, "She became a little sharper but nothing changed."
Grandmaster just nodded and left him alone after that so he could fully recover from his demonic training.
After grandmaster left the room, Wu Yu used a lot of effort to lift up his hand so that he could see it before he started mumbling, "way of destruction, hadō #1, shō!"
Pointing a finger towards an empty glass cup nearby, an invisible force seemed to have shot from his finger and made contact with the glass cup causing it to be pushed a little less than an inch away from it's previous spot.
Looking at his hand a little excited, Wu Yu thought to himself, 'reiatsu! although it's very little, I can feel it! I can train reiatsu in this world!'
The entire rest of the day, Wu Yu spent trying to train his reiatsu. Through many trials and errors, he had found that his reiatsu was somehow linked to his spirit power in a way.
It's almost like they're coexisting with each other. By training his reiatsu, he was also training his spirit power as his reiatsu for some reason was being converted into spirit power.
Luckily, he could now control weather to change reiatsu into spirit power or not. He tried changing spirit power into reiatsu but it didn't seem to have any effect.
He didn't understand why it was like this as it didn't seem like reiatsu was any weaker than spirit power, the only conclusion he could come to was the theory his master came up with, that the world would reject foreign energies or powers.
This didn't seem to bother Wu Yu too much though, at least he can train reiatsu in this world and use his previous abilities prior to this life.
After this new discovery, Wu Yu had to change up his training a bit to incorporate his reiatsu training into the mix.
Day after day, Wu Yu would repeat the same daily routine which was training, rest for a bit, then head off to work before returning to his dorm to fully rest for the days to come.
Of course there were a few changes in his daily routine caused by mishaps at work, master disciple time, and the start of the school year, but other than these few things he lived a pretty monotonous life for his 5 years in the academy.

"Hey, brother Yu, what are we gonna do now? are we gonna gonna join a sect? maybe another school?"
"Pah, what are you talking about, as if brother Yu would join any sect, he could create one himself and anyone would join!"
"Alright you two, calm down, my master recommend for us to go to a school called Shrek, so we'll go check it out first."
Outside the Notan spirit academy gates a pair of twins standing at 5 feet 2 inches with short, light blue hair and eyes were constantly pestering another boy.
The boy was 5 foot 6 inches with long, raven black hair, tied up into a single ponytail. He was fairly good looking, not over the top handsome but just the right amount of handsome where he won't have any problems because of his looks.
His bright purple eyes seemed to release a dangerous glint as a tick mark appeared on his forehead. The twins have been pestering him non stop for the past 10 minutes while they were waiting for the girls.
These three were of course, Wu Yu, Huang Da and Bo. The girls they were waiting for were the only girls Wu Yu really knew, Lin Yuhan and Qing Guanyu.
Qing Guanyu tuned out to be in the same dorm as them and joined their training, only she was a little lazy so she ended up sitting out some of the training.
However to make up for the hard training, she focused more on spirit power and abilities of her spirit while also working on her welding skills.
By the time Wu Yu was about to explode and start venting it out on the brothers, the two girls seemed to have made it just in time to save the twins.
"Little Yu! we're here!" from behind, a melodious voice exclaimed while getting closer and closer to the trio.
A tall and beautiful, long haired blonde with a huge bust was dragging along a shorter female behind her with dark purple hair.
The two ran up to the trio with a smile before dumping all their luggage to the three of them while giving a few cute giggles.
Wu Yu just sighed at their antics and put all the luggage into his essence tool before taking the lead as he was too tired to talk.
Unfortunately for him 3 out of the five of them were total social butterflies so he was bombarded with questions and forced to talk or he would never get them off his back.
Even worse, he just had to bump into his junior brother Tang San with his little "sister" who was another addition to the group of social butterflies.
Luckily, Lin Yuhan and Tang San weren't the talkative type or else he would only end up with buzzing ears by the time the got to Shrek.
Wu Yu wasn't very keen on being in another school but he promised his master that he would at least check it out before making a decision.
After a long and tiring journey, the group of 7 still haven't reached the village where Shrek would be holding examinations so they decided to hang out around the town they were currently in and move again the next day.
The group went around almost the entire town, buying and trying stuff here and there untill they eventually got tired and decided to find a place to crash.
It didn't take too long until Xiao Wu spotted a strange hotel and convinced the others to stay there for the night.
When they asked for 6 separate rooms, the man got a little flustered and told them that they only had 3 rooms available at the moment.
The group decided to come to a compromise, Tang San an Wu Yu decided to sleep in one room while the brothers would get another, finally, the largest room would go to the three girls.
All three of them agreed on this and told the man they would buy out all three rooms. The man quickly found the keys to the rooms and was about to hand them over before a voice interrupted him.
"Hold on, isn't that my room?" asked a young man with blonde hair and two girls by his side as he walked into the hotel.
Everyone looked over to the young man and when the receptionist saw him, he exclaimed, "young master Dai!"
"How could you give my room to other people?" Dai Mubai asked before gazing at the group.
As his eyes wandered through the group it suddenly stopped on someone causing his lips to curl up and his eyes to shine.
Holding out his hand, he held it out in front of Qing Guanyu before saying, "However, I don't mind if this lady over here takes a room with me."
Looking at Dai Mubai, Qing Guanyu gave a crafty smile before grabbing Wu Yu's arm and said flirtatiously, "young master Dai, I only like strong men, if you can beat my boyfriend over here, I'm all yours."
Wu Yu felt a little strange about being used like this but it wasn't like he had anything to lose, plus, this way he could end this whole thing faster.
On the other hand, Dai Mubai looked at Wu Yu and smiled before saying provocatively, "this little boy? I could beat him up with my hands tied behind my back."
Tang San and the others who heard this just shook their heads and looked at Dai Mubai sympathetically while Wu Yu's face darkened.
Summoning out Wu Ji, Wu Yu said with a hint of irritation, "don't kill him and don't use any skills, make sure he feels all the pain."
Dai Mubai was surprised by the sudden appearance of a nine foot Qilin but before he could even react, the Qilin suddenly started it's attack on him.
Starting with a charge, Wu Ji tried to ram Dai Mubai only to end up missing by a hairs width.
Wu Yu was a little surprised that Dai Mubai could dodge that but he wasn't really impressed by it and just watched on with a bored face.
Almost immediately Dai Mubai knew he wouldn't win if he didn't take this seriously so he yelled out, "white tiger, diamond form!"
After yelling that out, his look started to change. His eyes became two different colors, red and blue with his spirit mark in his blue eye.
His hair also changed colors from a blonde to a complete white with a patch of black on the front along with white arrow like patch of hair on his forehead.
Other than that, his clothes also changed and became a lot more flashier while his hands turned to sharp claws.
When this happened Wu Yu still looked a little amused but he got a little serious, "Wu Ji, use charged up!"
After he gave that order, a short statured man came running out from the back with a look of panic and when he saw saw what was happening he just stood there silently in fear.
Wu Ji now looked a little different from before, it's white mane turned a golden color and its eyes now sported a golden shine.
The last notable change was the sparks of blue electricity that sparked around him from time to time.
Seeing the increase in Wu Ji's power, Dia Mubai paled, he knew he stood no chance at all. Opening his mouth, he wanted to surrender but it was too late.
Wu Ji lifted it's two hind legs and sent a kick toward Dai Mubai who luckily put up his guard on time and got kicked out of the hotel, literally.
Seeing that the problem was taken care of, Wu Yu took one of the keys from the receptionist, who was still in shock and made his way to a room.
Following him, Tang San and the others also got their keys and walked off, leaving the receptionist and manager at a loss of what to do.
"Sigh, don't bother those kids and send people to recover young master Dai." the manager finally said with a sigh before leaving while shaking his head.
