Chapter 60 - 58 Housewarming treat

Chahat had finally settled into college life, and with the shop now up and running, she and Mehendi decided it was time to move into her home. It wasn't a sudden decision; she had always planned to live there once things were stable. Now that everything was falling into place, the timing felt just right.

When Tiya heard about their plan, she immediately offered to help. She had always been someone who enjoyed being there for her friends, and this was no exception. Jay, too, was quick to step in, eager to lend a hand.

Chahat's house was in excellent condition. It had been well-maintained, so there was no need for any repairs or cleaning—just a simple move-in. The only real task was shifting their belongings, which, fortunately, wasn't much. Since they didn't have a lot of luggage, there was no need to hire a big vehicle. Jay suggested using his car, and everyone agreed that it was the most convenient option.

On the day of the move, the group gathered early in the morning, ready to get everything done quickly. Chahat and Mehendi had already packed their essentials neatly, making it easier for everyone to load the items into the car. Tiya took charge of organizing the boxes, ensuring that fragile items were handled carefully, while Jay efficiently arranged the heavier bags in the trunk.

As they worked together, laughter and lighthearted conversations filled the air. Tiya teased Chahat about finally having her own space, while Mehendi playfully complained about all the heavy lifting. Even Jay, usually the quieter one, joined in on the jokes, making the entire process feel less like a chore and more like a fun bonding experience.

By noon, everything was set. The last of the boxes had been placed inside the house, and the group took a moment to sit back and admire their work. Chahat looked around, a sense of contentment washing over her. This wasn't just a house—it was a place where she could truly start fresh, with people who cared about her standing by her side.

"You guys are the best," she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

"Of course we are!" Tiya grinned. "Now, where's our reward? I think this calls for a housewarming treat!"

Chahat laughed, shaking her head. "Fine, fine. Let's go get something to eat. My treat."
