Chapter 73 - 71 The Holi Party Preparations

The Holi Party Preparations

The countdown had begun. The Singhanias' grand Holi party was just two days away, and excitement buzzed through the air like the sweet scent of spring. Everyone had received their invitations, and it was unanimously decided—we were all going.

"Yes, we are! Our families have been invited!" we chorused in unison, the realization sinking in.

But amidst the thrill, panic was already setting in for some.

"Oh no! The party is only two days away, and I haven't even started getting ready! So much work to do—facial, pedicure, manicure!" Bella shrieked, her hands flying up dramatically before she dashed out of the room, leaving a trail of chaos in her wake.

Tia, ever the voice of reason—though not without her own brand of sass—rolled her eyes and called after her, "My drama queen, instead of worrying about your beauty treatments, just make sure you don't end up cutting off your fingers!"

A round of chuckles followed, but then Kiya, ever observant, smirked. "Looks like a mini-Kiya is about to be born in our group."

That statement sent another ripple of laughter through us. Bella was indeed becoming an expert at unnecessary overreactions, something that was Kiya's specialty.

Just then, I turned to Chaahat. "By the way, do you have a white dress for the party?"

Chaahat blinked. "White dress…?"

Before she could think further, Kiya interjected with a mischievous grin. "Say Tata bye-bye to that white dress in your mind! After the party, it won't be wearable anymore." She waved her hand dramatically, as if bidding farewell to an invisible dress.

Chaahat's face fell. "If that's the case, I can't wear that dress on that day. It's my favorite!"

"Never mind, we'll just get something else from the market," Tiya reassured her.

"Yeah, the dress you wear to this party has to be presentable. It's the Singhanias' party, after all. The crowd there won't be ordinary, and our Barbie Doll here shouldn't look any less impressive!" Kiya declared.

Tiya narrowed her eyes. "Don't give me childish nicknames!"

Kiya just grinned wider, unbothered.

The preparations were far from over, but one thing was certain—the Holi party was going to be an unforgettable event.

The countdown had begun. The Singhanias' grand Holi party was just two days away, and the air practically buzzed with excitement. Invitations had been sent, whispered discussions had turned into full-blown planning, and one thing was clear—we were all going.

"Yes, we are! Our families have been invited!" we chorused in unison, the realization finally sinking in.

The Singhanias were not just any ordinary family; they were the family—the crème de la crème of the city's elite, the ones who set trends rather than followed them. Their Holi parties were legendary, filled with celebrities, business tycoons, and influencers who made headlines with their mere presence.

For most of us, it wasn't just a party—it was an opportunity, a chance to rub shoulders with the elite, maybe even make an impression. But for some, like Bella, the realization had struck in a very different way.

"Oh no! The party is only two days away, and I haven't even started getting ready! So much work to do—facial, pedicure, manicure!"
