Ji Weitian sat in the chair, and with her stature, she could only look up to Qin Nanyu.
Qin Nanyu didn't seem to have any intention of going inside either, maintaining a not too distant, not too close space, meeting her gaze.
Not until Ji Weitian pulled out a breakfast bun from her bag and started nibbling it in front of him did Qin Nanyu finally couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.
"You're looking at me in vain. I've only bought one," said Ji Weitian, seeing him walking inside, she sped up her breakfast, as if afraid Qin Nanyu might snatch her bun.
She gulped down the bun in just a few bites and reached for the soy milk to insert a straw.
It wasn't until she noticed Qin Nanyu's gaze lingering on the soy milk in her hand
that, upon catching her eyes, it quickly shifted away,
his ears tinged with a hint of red.
Some memories that had been forgotten crept back into Ji Weitian's mind.
