It was another Monday. At 8:50 AM, Chen Xu arrived at the company on time.
"Assistant Chen, good morning."
Several early-arriving colleagues greeted him warmly.
"Morning," he responded with a smile, heading straight to his seat and nodding to Secretary Guo sitting across from him as a form of greeting.
Secretary Guo returned his smile "Good morning."
Chen Xu was a bit surprised, as usually she would just return a polite smile, but today she took the initiative to greet him.
