The second half of the auction took place half an hour later.
Jasmine Yale and Will Caddel returned to their seats.
The venue was still packed with people, a dense crowd swarming about.
Jasmine Yale no longer felt nervous at all. Instead, she appreciated each item with a discerning eye, sometimes quietly discussing interesting pieces with Will Caddel.
If she didn't understand something, she would ask Will Caddel, who would patiently explain it to her.
Jasmine Yale gained a lot from this.
As the weather gradually warmed up and with so many people in the venue, Jasmine Yale soon felt hot and took off her light blazer.
Will Caddel turned his head and reached out his hand, "Let me hold that for you."
"I can hold it myself."
"Insisting on keeping me at arm's length makes me feel quite embarrassed," Will Caddel teased, knowing that she was simply someone who didn't like to trouble others, always cautious and meticulous.
"Is that so?" Jasmine Yale replied sheepishly.
