Why are the Seven Seas called the Seven Seas?
In fact, the term "Seven Seas" describes a vast ocean divided into seven sea territories, six of which are respectively controlled by the Buddhist Sect, Taoist Sect, and the followers of Confucianism.
As for the other sea territory, it is dotted with numerous scattered islands inhabited by extremely powerful Demon Beasts, and the number of Sea Beasts within the sea is also much greater than in the other six seas. Additionally, some unknown dangers exist. Over the centuries, members of the three sect have explored this sea territory numerous times, leaving behind numerous bodies.
To this day, the sea territory known as the land of death still has some islands occupied by members of the three sect, although it's only a very small part of them.
The relationships among the three sect are not entirely harmonious; aside from the Buddhist Sect, which is relatively detached and less competitive, the Confucian and Taoist Sects are not so.
