The Federation Government had long ago given up representing intelligence with numerical values because the grading wasn't clear enough. Now, in this era, intelligence levels are classified into four grades: D, C, B, A, and S.
Grade D represents an intelligence level that is not qualified, which used to be below 100 in numerical terms.
Grade C represents a qualified level of intelligence, previously defined as between 100 and 150.
Grade B is the level of a genius, previously ranging from 150 to 300.
Grade A is considered a monstrous intelligence level, previously from 300 to 1000. Those who reached this level were often skilled enough to adeptly play Time-Space Chess.
As for the highest level, S, it denotes a unique intelligence, above 1000. People of this class, if properly guided, could become extremely formidable entities. They could freely control and achieve extraordinary accomplishments in any domain.
