Every Divine Position within a divine being, aside from containing a complete inheritance, also encompasses a vast amount of memories related to cultivation. Memories unrelated to cultivation do not enter the Divine Position and merely linger deep within the soul after the host's death.
There are generally two methods to refine a Divine Position: normal refining and special refining.
Normal refining occurs when Divine Fire is used directly on the Divine Position, allowing the inheritor to directly take over the Divine Position. The advantage is the acquisition of all memories and inheritances within the Divine Position, but the disadvantage is that future cultivation levels will be restricted by the Divine Position.
