The Star Domain Divine Race is just a bunch of disgraceful nouveaux riches!
A navigation crystal capable of inter-world signal transmission without damage, and it's naturally occurring too! How much manpower and resources would it take to create something like that in an ordinary plane? And they use it as a decoration?
And it seems Sandora once hung it as a toy in her bedroom... I hope she wasn't using it to teethe? I've heard those "crystals" are pretty tough...
