Alex and Lisa were bounded by magic so they could not attack the soldiers anymore, now Jude, Fred, Miranda and Michael walked toward them Alex smiled mischievously when he saw Jude so he started saying something to himself which no one heard when Jude was close enough Alex broke the magic chains and charged straight at Jude passing his hand through his chest ripping his heart out Everyone was shocked it all happened so fast and one by one the remaining bersekers bowed to Alex but he sent them to the underworld to join his army Lisa had sucked the soul of Jude the moment Alex removed his heart all the soldiers moved back and set their weapons but Alex turned himself in and stretched his hands to be cuffed. It was shocking a man who killed someone and could still kill so many others turned himself in and Lisa did the same, Miranda and Michael suspected something off but they didn't know what their brother had in mind on the other hand Fred was baffled at his brothers actions. Alex and Lisa where taken to the empire but now all the towns people had returned on hearing the victory of their Emperor Frederick the first, while passing the town the people booed Alex and Lisa throwing foods at them but the both of them remained quiet and calm knowing very well they could bury the town in a second but Alex had a plan and Lisa was following her husband. In the underworld the Elites where sober they lost for the first time all of them were looking towards Josh who was the strongest though the youngest they knew he was far more powerful than the rest of them but the leader was the most powerful so that made Josh the leader of the team, Hunter had obtained several injuries from the war and Lily treated his wounds, Josh knew that Alex let the portal close and he gave himself in but he didn't know why, while they were talking the hell riders came in and gave Aurora to Lily and told the Elites that Alex and Lisa had ordered them to take care of the child if they got captured in the war and until the child is grown no one should come for their rescue now Josh understood the reason Alex and Lisa wanted their child to have enough hate not to have her parents love but vengeance on the people who captured her parents and they wanted her to grow up with darkness in her soul but it would not be possible if they were there with her. Under his breath Josh cursed them for not giving him a clue and Josh told the Elites what Alex and Lisa really did so they all took care of Aurora like a sister. In the empire Alex and Lisa were locked up in magical heaven chains which subdued their magic making them unable to use their magical powers nor their beast powers they could not even contact their beasts at all. Fred summoned the council and decided what could be done to Alex aside death but they couldn't come up with a good punishment then one of the generals spoke and said Alex and Lisa should be whipped morning and evening for committing treason against the throne, though Fred didn't like the idea as Alex was his twin brother the council had decided so he ordered the townsmen to tell the whole empire that there would be a public announcement the following morning. The following morning Alex and Lisa were brought to the punishment ground and Fred stood while all the people of the empire watched, Fred announced that Alex and Lisa were going to be punished for their treason by receiving thirty whips in the morning and evening each from that day forward and the whole town cheered hailing Fred for his judgment and the soldiers took Alex to the punishment alter then the punisher came and whipped Alex, Alex groaned in pain as his powers were blocked he was like a mere human being after whipping Alex they took Lisa and whipped her and she screamed in pain Alex told them to stop and whip him but Lisa said it was okay that he had taken his punishment that she should suffer hers, Fred left the punishment ground and went to his chambers in his castle and wept meanwhile Miranda and Michael saw him and they both followed him when they got to his chambers they met Fred weeping watching the crowd then they heard him say even though he offended he was their sibling and that was the main reason he spared them in the battle field because he could not spill the blood of his siblings, Michael an Miranda knew that he was absolutely correct as the whole army was not able to conquer Alex if he hadn't surrendered himself. Miranda cried when she saw how she left her brother Alex and even thought of him as the enemy whereas he spared them for the love he had for them.
