Beads of sweat appeared on her forehead as she take a step one at a time.
"Just ten more," Liyana said patiently beside her.
Amber gritted her teeth and persevered until she finished the tenth step and that took all her energy making her fall.
Two strong arms wrapped around her waist before she was carried to her wheelchair.
She looked up at Ashton with a pout as she frowned.
His lips were lifted on one side and it shows that he was having fun at her dilemma.
"Don't laugh," she chided as she was placed on the wheelchair.
It was the second day of her rehabilitation and she boasted on the first day that this was a piece of cake, completely forgetting that her numbness are no longer there and the moment she took her first step, pain shot through her whole body and she ended up collapsing instead.
They were worried at first but it was then explained that her mind and body had long forgotten what pain is and so she ended up collapsing for suddenly feeling that tremendous pain.
