In the hospital room, Su Lianxi and Lin Shuyue sat on either side of Su Guo'an's bed. Lin Shuyue kept lowering her head to wipe away tears, while Su Lianxi had a pale face, yet her expression was filled with stubbornness and unwillingness.
"Mom, stop crying!" she said impatiently to Lin Shuyue. "Crying won't solve anything, right? Didn't the doctor say that the hospital is looking for a matching donor for Dad?"
"You..." Lin Shuyue sobbed and hiccupped, "Donor matches aren't so easy to find. What if something happens to your dad? What will I do then?"
Su Lianxi gritted her teeth, "Don't you still have me?"
"You... Your dad is so sick and Yichen refuses to even come see him..." Lin Shuyue said this, sorrow welling up inside her, and she started sobbing again.
Su Lianxi's face turned red and then pale in her shame and annoyance. With a fierce turn of her head, she saw Su Zixi standing at the doorway of the hospital room.
