Gu Xinghe and Elder Yin's bodies swayed lightly, ready to enter the palace once more.
"Swish!"
A figure, however, charged out rapidly from the inside.
Both men were slightly taken aback to see the green figure coming head on.
"Jing Yan?" Gu Xinghe's eyes bulged round, somewhat incredulous at the sight.
He had thought that Jing Yan, having entered the puppet room, was bound to die, yet to his surprise, Jing Yan had emerged alive and seemingly uninjured.
"Both of you, I just entered a room, and inside there was a black puppet, truly formidable. I nearly died at its hands, but luckily I could run fast," Jing Yan said without waiting for the two to ask, letting out a breath first and then speaking.
His fight with the puppet in the puppet room could not possibly escape their notice.
Previously, only three of them were inside the palace; with Jin Yan's loud battle with the puppet, it would be odd if Gu Xinghe and the other didn't know something had happened.
