As she watched the livestream and chatted with the old man, Sen Tian Makoto finally dozed off at the edge of dawn.
The next day in the Polar Star Dormitory courtyard, excited shouts echoed:
"Get up! Get up!"
"Time to head out!"
Yoshino Yuuki and Xingping Chuangzhen, the dormitory's most energetic teens, were outside chanting the slogans.
"Ugh!"
Sen Tian Makoto rubbed her eyes and woke up, realizing she had been too dazed last night to cover herself with a blanket. Luckily, it was early July and the midsummer heat made it bearable, otherwise, she definitely would have caught a cold if it were winter.
"Ah, it's ten in the morning!"
She looked in horror at the alarm clock on her bedside table. Makoto hurried out of bed, slipped on her shoes, and dashed into the bathroom.
"Bang bang!"
"Makki?"
"Makki, come out quickly!"
Tanaka Hikari and Yoshino Yuuki called at the door together.
