Amidst the cheerful shouts, a young man clad in a green vest, holding a large bundle of gifts, entered the Ye Qiu Men courtyard.
From a distance, he noticed that the doors of the rooms inside Ye Qiu Men were left wide open, with everything inside in great disarray. Shocked, he immediately rushed into the house, only to find Ye Weiming holding a girl's wrist with one hand and checking her injuries with the other hand under her nose.
"Ali!"
A roar resounded, shaking the heavens and the earth, and making both Ye Weiming and Dao Mei frown simultaneously.
What a noise indeed!
Amidst the roar, the youth in green drew the blade from behind his back and slashed at Ye Weiming: "I will avenge Ali!"
Ye Weiming furrowed his brow, feeling that this misunderstanding was rather melodramatic; a surge of frustration built up inside him, needing to be vented. Meanwhile, Dao Mei acted much more decisively, drawing her pufferfish poison blade and charging forward...
