Zack's POV
"Let me go!" Elize screamed, thrashing in his arms.
Her voice was guttural and her eyes had already turned into slits. She was fast becoming the wolf without knowing that she was turning. Her elongated nails dug into his back as she scraped at it, desperate to get free from his grasp. But Zack didn't let go, not because he didn't want her. It was too dangerous for them to complete the ceremony outside. Her scent was too seductive- almost magnetic.
'Mine!' His wolf thundered in his head possessively as his grip tightened on her waist.
'Shut up!' Zack shouted back, irritated at its efforts to take control.
They were moving at lightning speed. As they burst through the entrance of the pack house, he saw that there was no one around. A sigh of relief escaped his chest knowing that the children were already in bed. He didn't want them to see the state that they were in right now. That would probably scar them for life, he thought as he quickly ran up the stairs.
