The next day was sunny, with the blue sky smiling above the Capital City.
Karlia stirred awake to the sounds of a fight.
"Yeah! Push him!"
"Right hook! Give him a right hook!"
"No, no! Evade! Evade him first!"
THWACK!
"Well, crap."
WHOOSH!
THUD!
CRASH!
A second later, Karlia saw the walls of her room shatter as one of her sons crashed through.
Her grogginess vanished instantly, replaced by a flash of anger in her eyes.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU KIDS DOING?!" she roared, shaking the entire Seventh Burdock Courtyard.
The young demon who had just fallen through looked up, only to see his mother glaring at him.
"H-hi, Mother… good morning," he said meekly.
"Darwill!" Karlia yelled, her voice carrying enough power to make the young demon float in the air.
"I-it wasn't my fault!" Darwill stammered. "It was the human challenger!"
"Human challenger?" Karlia narrowed her eyes, her memory flashing back to the fight she had lost just a day ago.
