"Well. It's good to see that you're both awake." Nesryn looked up from the chess board, swatting her brother's hand when the younger tried to move one of her pieces. Something that they had both been doing since they were little and had evolved into a little game within their chess game.
"And clothed." Her head snapped towards her brother's direction, a slight hiss coming out of her mouth, her forehead creasing as she watched her brother continue to stare at the board, completely oblivious to the stares he was getting from everyone -e.g. their parents, her husband, the doctor, and the two nurses that was working on Azriel's tubes and lines.
"Mikhael!" This time, it was their mother who was almost bending on her side to stare at her son face-to-face. If she was not red in the face, Nesryn would have found the situation funny but currently, it was only their father and her husband – the audacity – who was grinning like a loon regarding the situation.
