Recently, the residents of Green City had clearly felt their lives slowly returning to normal, although there would still occasionally be adventurers from the Lost Plane whose actions irritated them. However, it was much better than before, during what they referred to as Purification Day—the massacre.
When it came to Purification Day, the natives felt exhilarated. Even if they couldn't kill the adventurers, they had taught those damned adventurers what it meant to be a punching bag and how it felt like a dragon bullying a goblin.
The changes in these foolish players were not only due to the divine catastrophe they suffered, but also because the players realized this world was all too real.
Here, the NPCs had their own thoughts, stories, emotions, cultural heritages,
and once an NPC was killed by a player, they were truly dead and could not be revived. Their families and friends would seek endless revenge on the killer.
