Seraphine POV;
The day for Kristopherson's troops to leave has finally arrived. But not before Aden stormed inside my office, his expression was sour.
"Did something happen—"
"Queen Seraphine, can you please talk some sense into my brother?!"
"Alright, but—"
"He said he was going to war with the King, I asked him why would he join, when we clearly vowed, to stay with you, the Queen"
"Where is he right now?"
"I knew you would tell her right away"
Sam entered my office, he was already in full gear.
"WHY WOULD YOU DECIDE ALL OF A SUDDEN TO JOIN THE WAR?! YOU ARE BEING RIDICULOUS RIGHT NOW!"
"Calm down, Aden" I told him "Zeno close the door, and stand guard" Zeno nodded and went outside, "Why are you deciding this all of a sudden, Sam, are you not comfortable being my Knight?"
"I am comfortable"
"Then, why?"
"I need to take some time off, away from the Palace"
"By joining war?! Are you forgetting that we stayed with Seraphine to help her?! To be together with our family?!"
