The moment he opened his eyes again, Emery was greeted by the tragic sight of the broken-down ruins under the night sky. Immediately after, he could sense that there were several of the hideous Nightwalker creatures present in his surrounding area.
Fortunately, the state-of-the-art, high-end [Invisibility Cape] provided for the mission that he was currently wearing performed its job splendidly, rendering him completely hidden in the sight of those creatures.
Even so, that didn't mean Emery let his guard down. Instead, he had become even more vigilant. Before they departed, they had all been advised not to be near any of the creatures or to make any sound as it could potentially alert them.
After making sure he was a distance away from all the Nightwalkers in his area, the next thing Emery did was locate the other acolytes. Thanks to the fact they were all wearing the provided Invisibility Cape, the search would certainly not be an easy one.
