Melisca didn't know where she was heading. She just wanted to get out of there. Out from anyone. She wanted to get farthest from people. Her head was feeling dazed as she ran out from the cave and went to wherever her foot was leading her to. She was surprised that she still had the energy left to push her feet to move and just noticed that her body healed on its own.
Her feet stopped automatically when she happened to stumble on a small lake in the middle of a forest clearing. There was a huge rock, and she decided to settle and lean her body against it as she sat on the grass.
She looked at the skies. Even the clouds were gloomy, and it looked like it would cry with her as well. She didn't know how to feel anymore. Every pain was pouring down on her. And she still hadn't grasped the reality that her parents were still alive. Very much alive.
