Ye Xian had taken an old man's ox cart into Tianlong Village, where she found a river with wild water caltrops and prepared to dive in to gather them.
Most of the water caltrops were in the middle of the river, and it was difficult to reach them without tools, fortunately, there was a single-person small boat nearby, and there was a rope on the boat.
She had a spark of inspiration and tied the rope to the boat, letting the accompanying photographer, PJ, pull her to the middle of the river. After she fetched the water caltrops, he would pull her back.
PJ nodded confidently, and Ye Xian, armed with a reed pole she'd snapped from the bank, stood on the boat as it slowly moved to the center of the river.
"That's it, that's it!"
She signaled an OK with her hand, just about to start gathering the water caltrops.
Unexpectedly, a carp suddenly leaped out of the water, splashing water into PJ's eyes. PJ, startled, immediately let go of the rope he was holding.
