Ye Xian yelled and dashed toward the clubhouse.
The waiter, startled by her voice, dropped the tray and bolted out of the clubhouse.
Each pavilion at Wind Pond had bodyguards stationed outside, realizing something was awry, a group of bodyguards quickly pounced on the escaping waiter to apprehend him.
Krista's hand holding the coffee shook slightly, clearly frightened, "What's the matter?"
Ye Xian, running so fast she nearly couldn't stop at their table, lurched forward due to momentum, and Bo Tingshen quickly grasped her waist to steady her.
"Your cup of coffee has had an unknown powder added to it!"
"What?" Krista immediately set down the coffee, her face a mix of shock and fear, "Was it drugged?"
"I don't know what's in there."
"Did you see it with your own eyes?"
Bo Tingshen asked her, and Ye Xian nodded affirmatively, "Mhm."
The Wind Pond bodyguards soon brought the runaway waiter before them.
