Shanay's POV
Luke is just too much. I dont even understand him when he speaks. Earlier on he told me something that I cant even remember but it was so cheesy.
"Babe do you wanna go out for supper today?"
"Okay,but what's the occasion?" I asked him.
"There isn't, I want to take my girlfriend out for supper today."
"I wont say no, but judging from that smile on your face I can tell that you have some good news for me that's why your taking me out for supper."
"I'm smiling because I have really good news for you. Now that's all I'm gonna say until we get to the restaurant." He said to me before turning around and walking out the front door and opening the door for me.

We got to the restaurant and he opened the door for me again. We walked inside and the waiter took us to our table. We ordered our food and were waiting for it. While we waited Luke and I spoke about having a surprise birthday party for a close friend of ours, John Hammond. His birthday is in a months time and we were glad to plan it when his mother asked us. I loved doing this type of stuff, it was the kind of stuff that made me addicted to party planning but I had my heart set on being a chef. Our food arrived and we started eating. The food was so delicious.
We finished our food and ordered dessert. It came to us and I took a small piece of the cake and something shiny caught the corner of my eye. I picked it out and saw what it really was, it was a ring. I looked up and Luke wasn't there, he was on one knee and he looked at me with happiness in his eyes.
"Shanay Ramjass...will you marry me?"
"Yes baby...yes I will." I said to him with tears in his eyes.
He got up and I hugged him. It was the best moment ever...cheesy but the best. I love it...I love him.
We left and went home. I couldn't stop looking at the ring...where did he get the money to buy the most beautiful ring ever. It meant alot because I really love him.
If I had to choose anyone else I wouldnt because I would always choose him. I cant wait to tell all of my friends...well two of them.
I cant wait to get married to him. If you asked me 2 years ago where I would be...my answer would have been going to college and getting my degree.
I would have never thought that i would be here in this car, with my fiancè Luke who has just asked me to marry him. I was so lost in my thoughts that I hadn't realized he was calling my name.
"Shanay?!"
"Ohh-uhh yes baby?" I said to him.
"When are you gonna tell your parents that we got engaged. That's what I asked you."
"Okay so we will have to invite them over for dinner and then break it to them I guess." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"That sounds like a plan." He winked at me.
I just gave him a small smile and looked out the window. I could feel his eyes burning through my back.
"Babe...what's wrong, some things bothering you because you are never this quiet for so long. Is it the whole wedding planning thing that's got your mind working so much?"
"I don't know, theres just alot that I'm thinking about at the moment and I don't know what to even tell you. Maybe it's just the shock that you asked me to be your wife, that's all. But Luke you know I love you right? It's not like I'm gonna get cold feet and leave you. I am so happy to be getting married to you, and it's not anyone else."
"Okay when you feel like you want to tell me about what ever is on your mind you can tell me, I wont force you right now because I know that you are stressed." He said to me with a big smile on his face.
We got to our apartment and he got out of the car and told me to stay put. He walked around the car and opened the door for me.
We walked into the house and I plopped myself down on the couch. He went upstairs and took his clothes off and came down in his boxers. He came and sat next to me.
"Babe why dont you go upstairs and change into your pj's?"
"Why dont you come and help me?" I asked him with a evil smile on my face.
We went upstairs and he took my vest off first, then my pants and he just left me there in the middle of nowhere. He went to my cupboard and took out a cute outfit for me. He looked like a little school boy with that look on his face.
