Ritsu was surprised and angry at the same time when he heard what Reigen had to say, apparently an agent from the Claw organization went for Mob when he separated from the group.
This caught me off guard until Reigen commented that the man who kidnapped Mob used a spray that made him fall asleep.
"I see they don't want to let us go easily" Teru commented as he pressed his fist against his chin.
"Ni-san" Ritsu on the other hand froze in surprise that Mob was kidnapped.
"Ritsu, we should go to your house, maybe another agent is heading there looking to capture you, Teru, do you live with your parents or in apartments?" I turned to see Teru who shook his head, while panic-filled Ritsu's face.
*Ding - dong!* "I guess our unexpected visit came, I see that actually if they have some way of tracking people if they managed to find my house" I looked towards the entrance where I could feel a psychic outside the door next to two other men with much less power at the sides of the door.
I looked towards the door where I could only see the shadow under the door, the sun had already begun to set and my grandmother gave us our space to talk a long time ago while she watches her novels in her room.
"Let me take care of them" I stopped Ritsu and Teru from trying to fight the man, I suppose they could pull it off, but that would require a lot of destruction in the process and we are 'in my house'.
In an instant, I tied the three men with ropes that I took out of the garden shed, and not wanting to waste time I did the same thing I did in the alley, I knocked out the two extras.
I take everyone to the garden to avoid attracting the attention of the neighbors and leave the psychic man in the hands of Teru and Ritsu to get the information out of the weak-willed man.
King scratched the faces of the three when he noticed how I tied them with the ropes.
He was the same man who would go after Mob in the Anime... he said his name was Terada and he could make air whips with his psychic powers to replicate Telekinesis on a certain level... how weak.
"I'm interested in trying something" I said as a curious smile filled my face when I approached Terada who was being held upside down as they forced him to put his head in a bowl of water.
Ritsu watched with interest as Teru when they saw me approach Terada, I extended my hand towards him and did something unexpected for the others.
I snatched all of Terada's psychic energy and made it take the form of a ball of concentrated energy in my other free hand.
"Hmm... I can absorb this energy, but it only mixes with my energy reserves, but it doesn't improve or increase it... maybe it's because of the difference in quality, maybe it works better in someone with less experience as a psychic" I took Ritsu by surprise when I could see on his face when he looked at his hands in surprise.
"Tch!" Ekubo looked annoyed at the situation when he noticed that Terada's mental defenses were eliminated, but now he didn't have the same amount of energy as a normal person and Ritsu now had greater defenses over his mind.
"T- Thanks, Ren-san" The excitement fills Ritsu when he felt a greater connection with his powers the sooner he only had a vague feeling that they would only respond if they wanted.
"The effect will only be momentary, with the amount of energy that the man had, the effect could last a week without consuming your reserves, the next we find I will give it to you, you need to stop doing those strange poses when you use your powers"
Teru scratched the back of his neck a little embarrassed to know what I mean, he just nodded. "Well now that we know where the place is, we should go" Teru regained his seriousness after a few seconds.
"Well... now I will take care of this people" I said with a smile while taking out a special pencil, for some reason, Ritsu and Teru looked scared at me when they saw my expression.
With a blank sheet, I was able to capture his memory as text and with the pencil, I could rewrite all the information as much as I want, but the only cost is my psychic energy to prevent both relics from being destroyed by performing work beyond the capacity of the materials that compose them.
In just a few minutes I was done, but it took me 1/4 of my energy to stop both relics from being destroyed (This is how I now refer to the items that I upgrade with the help of the system).
I got my strings back after taking the money from them, apart from leaving their car overturned that I also had to bring.
By the time I got back to my house, the two of them had already left without waiting for me, well it's not like I care, maybe there will be a different result since both brothers will be in their best form.
I disappeared from my house with Sushin in the direction of the organization's hiding place while I was considering whether or not to call the police after the disaster that will occur at the site even with or without my interference.
*Trembling* The ground trembled when I reached the forest where Claw's group was hiding.
I could recognize psychic energy as Mob's apart from the silver color that was momentarily in the forest, a color that belongs to Mob while his brother is light blue.
Going further into the forest, I found a man in a gray suit and with orange hair.
"Agh~ It's my fault for sure Mob was kidnapped, maybe it's some dissatisfied customer, well I just have to fix it and ask a bit of forgiveness for Mob's younger brother for the inconvenience ... Aaah it will be a pain to do that" The man talked to himself while looking at his phone that marked one point in the forest that was Mob's phone.
"Hey!" It will be fun to follow Reigen around while I watch him make a fool of the enemy.
"Uh? What's a teenager doing in a place like this? Who are you?" Reigen became defensive when he noticed me and I could see how quickly he was already analyzing me.
Man, he does have a sharp mind as I remember from the anime.
"Calm down, I'm just doing the same as you, looking for Mob, but I'm doing it to help his little brother" Reigen raised an eyebrow at my answer, but kept his behavior composed.
"Well, nice to know that I will have help in this, but I feel that it will be a bit dangerous, maybe it is not a good idea to participate in this, you don't know how some dissatisfied customers can be" Reigen tried to make me withdraw, something very noble of him.
"Hehe, don't worry, there is no danger for me in this place" I said with a smile as I smashed a rock with just my power, I broke the rock at the height of my chest so Reigen could see.
"!!!" Reigen widened his eyes when he saw the show I did with the stone and I could see how he panicked a bit when he realized that there are more Psychics than Mob.
"You are like Mob a psychic... leaving that aside, my name is Reigen Arataka I am a professional Exorcist and also Shisou from Mob" Reigen regained his posture when he fixed his suit and offered me a formal greeting.
"Kishida Ren, Psychic, a student trying to find a balance between his normal life and the world" I shook Reigen's hand.
"Since you have powers like Mob, I won't tell you to retire anymore, but I ask, can you pass yourself off as my partner when we find the man who kidnapped Mob?" Reigen offered a quick idea after observing the group blocking the entrance to the building in the distance.
"Better say that I'm like your bodyguard, it will be easier and more believable" Reigen thought for a few seconds, only to nod later and continue walking towards the group of men.
Reigen walked with total tranquility and introduced himself to the group who ended up mistaking him for someone higher in the hierarchy of the organization.
"Why don't you have your scar yet?" I would have gone through the door without any problem if it were not for the curiosity of a woman who stared at me for several seconds.
"I have not been able to challenge the boss yet, he is usually very busy, for now, I am just following him around as he evaluates me" As soon as I pronounced this, they all looked away and nodded as if I had told the truth of the universe.
Reigen looked calm but his gaze turned serious as he analyzed everyone's behavior.
