Because of the previous challenge event, at this moment, there were many more survivors within the Martial Arts Hall than before.
After the battle concluded, some on-looking survivors dispersed, while others applied for a temporary membership at Carmen and found themselves free equipment in the hall to start training.
Ordinary survivors didn't feel anything special, but Awakeners, especially those of higher levels, clearly noticed the difference in the equipment of the Extreme Martial Arts Hall. Even if it couldn't make them stronger in a short time, it could still serve a certain training purpose.
