From afar, one could see the towering blue-and-white domed castle, yet very few survivors ever managed to approach the majestic structure.
This was forbidden territory, accessible only to the higher-ups of Green Shadow or to invited survivors who were privileged enough to enter.
Many new Awakeners would gaze at the castle from a distance, full of admiration, but when they asked the old-timers who had spent time in Green Shadow, no one could provide any information.
It made everyone's curiosity itch like a cat's paw, growing ever more intense.
However... they dared not step into the restricted area. Although most harbored a death-wish, more often than not, reason managed to suppress the urge for self-destruction.
For mere curiosity's sake, it wasn't worth it.
