*YUI ACCIDENTALLY STUMBLES UPON THE SECRET CONVERSATION,
As Yui bounces back to Kai and Akira, curiosity sparkling in her eyes:
"Onii-chan, Akira-chan, what's the 'book' you're talking about?
Kai and Akira exchange nervous glances before Kai forces a casual smile:
"Ha ha, Yui-chan, we were discussing a... new script for a school playbook – you know, for the drama club!"
Akira quickly adds, playing along:
"Yes, that's right! The school wants us to help write a new script, and we were brainstorming ideas."
Yui's face lights up with excitement:
"Ooh, can I help, Onii-chan? I love plays! What's the story about?"
Kai and Akira breathe internally relieved sigh
Akira whispers urgently to Kai while Yui remains distracted by Ryan and Chris:
"Kai-kun, quickly – about Yui-chan... do you think she could also benefit from the Book's power?"
Kai's expression turns stern, his voice barely audible:
"No. Absolutely not, Akira-chan."
Akira's eyebrows rise in surprise:
"Why not? It could make her popular like us – admired and loved by everyone."
Kai glances at Yui, who laughs with Ryan and Chris, innocent and carefree:
"That's exactly why not, Akira-chan. Yui-chan is still a child – pure-hearted and innocent. The Book's power comes with darkness, Akira-chan – corruption, obsession, and ruthless ambition.
Akira leans in closer, intrigued by Kai's concerns:
"You mean it changes people like... us?"
Kai nods grimly:
"Exactly. We're already tempted by its power – constantly craving more influence, beauty, and admiration. Yui-chan would be devastated by those feelings. She'd lose her kindness and innocence."
Akira's expression softens slightly, considering Kai's words:
"But wouldn't protecting her be worth the risk? Making her powerful like us could keep her safe from bullying or hurt."
Kai turns back to Akira:
"In the future, maybe... but not now. Yui-chan needs to remain innocent a little longer."
