Cain unbuttons my pyjamas' top with such dexterity that I couldn't help but spare a moment to marvel at his skills. His fingers then brush against my bare chest before he rests his hand above my heart, the warmth from his palm seeping into my skin which was probably the reason why my heart felt like it was about to combust.
"Nervous?" Cain asks in a tender voice as he gently traces his fingertips against my skin.
I nodded shyly as his lips curled to a smile and he extends his hand towards me before tenderly caressing my cheek. My eyes held his before he leans in and plants a soft kiss against my lips.
So gentle... It's a little unlike him...
He breaks the kiss briefly and meets my gaze before chuckling softly and kissing my cheek. My body felt warm and restless despite how his presence unconsciously made me feel at ease.
