I again spoke to Ella, ignoring the guy named Lampok, feeling a little bad for him. It looks like his parents went into no-thinking mode before they called him something.
"It's just a rough patch, he's good, that's all," Ella replied with a small edge to her tone. But it still can't hide the fact that she is indeed noticing the fact that she is getting her ass kicked. But even above that, Ella would have also noticed the fact that her moves are being read. Ella wouldn't be Ella, leading the faction mind within the faction of Carmel if she didn't understand the fact that the opponent in front of her is somehow reading her mind.
The flat proof of it is in the game table itself, where Ella had made a foolish move in which the normal response would be to take another attack. But to the ones that can understand the mild intent of the mind, Lampok took a different action, and this has only gone forth to prove Ella's suspicions.
