"What does this mean?"
Valdris asked with a choked sense of emotions in her, her gaze fully focused on the face of Austin, to which Queen Mother Lyssandra replied:
"I don't know, but I know one thing—it seems we are falling into a deep hole of emotions that we won't even be able to see the end of."
As she said this, for a moment, a dark swirling emotion passed through Queen Mother Lyssandra's eyes. Unlike her daughter, Queen Mother Lyssandra had gone through this situation far longer than her. It was the rippling pain and shifting emotions in her mind that kept pushing against her. This unstopping pain drove Queen Mother Lyssandra to great heights.
She was among the very few women who came to truly rule over this kingdom of dwarves, and she was also among the rare ones who focused truly on creation and combat. Driven by sheer will, she rose to the level of an Imperial in hopes that perhaps this curse that binds them would slow down if she reached such a high level of power.
