My senses could pick up how damaged Silva was becoming, her mental state perhaps having denied the truth, and now having the punishment come to her most ruthlessly. It had struck a heavy blow to the mental power she had accumulated over the years. In the end, something like this isn't an easy change at all.
On one side, it was her family—the ones who taught her, raised her, and in a sense, shaped her into the woman she is. Her parents had always treated her with love and care, treating her like a gentle princess of theirs. She had no hatred for them. On the other side, it was her best friend and the master she had sworn to follow and take care of.
