When he exited Amy's Bakery, he saw a large and luxurious carriage. Four majestic horses with ornate adornments stood in front of the carriage. Each of them had thick ropes tying them to the front of the carriage. A coachman sat at the carriage's front, holding the leash to the four horses. A burly man with a mustache stood beside the carriage's door.
Jack was surprised to see the burly man as he knew him.
"Gruff?"
"You remembered me!" Gruff exclaimed with a wide smile.
"You are hard to forget," Jack said. "What are you doing here? Weren't you taking care of the Warrior Academy?"
"Heh, I was just passing by there when you went to take your test. I don't actually work there. Additionally, more and more of you outworlders are coming to apply for class advancement. It had been nothing but work there. Why would I want to bother myself with that kind of hassle? I got other more interesting things to do"
Jack was speechless. Shouldn't he be glad that many want to become Warriors?
