Following the Qi Spring Lake becoming the new home of the living artifact Baobao, Elder Song made sure to not just inform Zu Fei about the situation before making arrangements with the different elders who would be taking the disciples to the Qi Spring Lake every now and then to enter the lake. After all, the Qi Spring Lake was still considered one of the most precious things in the sect, as entering it was incredibly useful for cultivation and therefore couldn't be closed off from the sect's elders and disciples.
With that in mind, it would still be some time before information about Baobao would become available throughout the sect. After all, the Qi Spring Lake itself wasn't small, and it would be difficult to encounter Baobao under normal circumstances. Not to mention, it would be difficult to tell that Baobao was purifying the spiritual qi while floating around the Qi Spring Lake, as the Qi Spring Lake itself did have this kind of effect on spiritual qi on its own.
